Top Third-Party Wallets

The Lisk wallets solely allow the user to hold Bitcoin (BTC) and Lisk (LSK). For this reason, we want to provide our community with an overview of third-party wallets that can be used to store LSK and a multitude of other cryptocurrencies. We highlight three non-custodial and two custodial third-party wallets which are according to our research the most trustworthy and/or offer the best user experience. For each wallet, we added general information that has been retrieved from their website and various crypto news outlets.

For this reason, we want to provide our community with an overview of third-party wallets that can be used to store LSK and a multitude of other cryptocurrencies. We highlight three non-custodial and two custodial third-party wallets which are according to our research the most trustworthy and/or offer the best user experience. Exodus is a multi-asset, non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet which supports LSK and over 100 other cryptocurrencies. Their services include a desktop and mobile wallet which are available on Windows, macOS, and Linux. Exodus partnered with Trezor, a hardware wallet, allowing its users to securely manage and exchange cryptocurrencies from their Trezor device.

Exodus was founded in 2015 by Richardson and Castagnoli and is headquartered in the United States. It heavily emphasizes security and releases software updates on a biweekly basis. Since the product’s release, more than 200 product updates have been released.

Their services include a mobile wallet which is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Abra was founded by Bill Barhydt in 2014 and is headquartered in Silicon Valley, United States with an additional office in Manila, Philippines. Since 2019, Abra allows international users to invest in stocks and ETFs.
