Why does Elements only have one objective per phase?

  • Elements plays a supporting role in terms of adapting itself to the planned protocol changes, and has what could be viewed as a singular objective of rebuilding Lisk Core into a series of composable elements, written entirely in TypeScript.
  • Elements also plays a supporting role in terms of reflecting any changes made to the Lisk protocol. As the extent of these changes is quite difficult to predict, especially in terms of which specific elements will be affected by a protocol change, it is always assumed a protocol change implies a reflection of some kind in Lisk Elements and other products.
